MANY CONNECTIONS

Hello. I have good news for you.

Stable is online. I was so inspired by Jane Remover's rap influences (Flash in the Pan) last fall when I first made this one and then I discovered outsider music legend God's Computer and was like 10x more inspired so somehow everything fell into place and this song came out of it.

The Everything have two shows coming up in May that feel momentous. We will play Cactus Club in Milwaukee on 5/11 with Superglue, Mail Manipulators, Aergo, and DJ Rowdy Nimrod. It is hard to imagine just two months ago I saw Gabby Start play there and met Jane and also Underscores (three people who, combined, have been more influential to my pop music experience than anyone). We will play Sleeping Village in Chicago on 5/30 with Snake Pond and Preston Woolsey in support of his album release show.

We're coming to Chicago. This is so exciting. Again with these pop music connections—last time I was in Chicago was for the Underscores hometown show and she brought Jane on stage... I will stop with this all now but like it just means so much to me to be connecting on new levels with scenes that are so inspiring to me (like Preston and the whole Chicago-SoundCloud crossover thing).

I'll keep pushing info about these shows but like if ur in/near Chicago or Milwaukee I am so looking forward to to seeing you and share music with you :)

Finally, for Lawrence students: we're also bringing Aergo and Frantic Repair up for a show at Beta on May 17th. And there's a super top-secret performance in a very unique space that might or might not happen in June... We're working on it...

Thank you for reading my very many words.

Eli

Checking in

It is early Sunday afternoon as I am writing and it feels like early Sunday afternoon. The Everything played like five shows in a row a couple weeks ago (""Pop Rock Reunion" Tour") and it was a very fulfilling project to organize and I've tried to think about more to say about it but all that's really articulable is "very much gratitude for sharing music with people" and that feels more than enough for now. For now: for anyone in Appleton, I'm playing/singing about seven songs on my acoustic guitar on the evening of April 16 at fsm (918 N Oneida). Moving here two years ago and slowly discovering the arts scene was exciting so it's very meaningful to be a part of this event with Chloe and Billy. Also, new song Stable is imminent. You are probably not ready to hear this...

Thanks for reading my words.

Eli.
