THE EVERYTHING ON TOUR

Eli Orion and the Everything are coming toward you!

I don't know how to announce this because I didn't expect anything like this to happen until a friend of mine, Tashi, complimented our tight show and suggested we had something we could take on the road. Since then, it was like, "okay cool we are going to do that," and Tyler (bass) and I rushed to book these shows as soon as I got back to the States.

If you're in Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, or Appleton, it would be so meaningful to see you at one of these shows. We've got a lot of interesting, exciting sounds to share with you. I'll send out more info as we get closer to the end of March and reveal who we're joining at each show and where, but just keep this in mind for now. Everything is coming back around.

The world is opening up

Eli Orion and the Everything will perform on Saturday, the eighth of February at Falcon Bowl in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The Everything opening for Callback and Lake Drive at Lawrence University

If you're near Milwaukee and feel like coming I would feel like very happy to see you! We will be sharing a bill with FUGU—great friends and inspirators of myself and pop musicians in my circles at Lawrence. Fulfilling and incredible (a bit "cray-cray", I might add) to be playing our first gig in the real world, not to mention with FUGU.

Look at my beautiful band. We are even more beautiful in real life which is another reason I think you should come to this show!

Regarding the "secret venue" on my website: that's this little show in Ben Lewis's dorm with some other musician friends who are not in my band and it's gonna be very acoustic guitars and nice and hang out chill. This will happen in Hiett Hall, room 204, at 8 pm on February 6th.

A good portion of you receiving these emails are kinda around my age and so it seems relevant to mention how it feels so like everything is becoming possible. I was talking with Hana (guitarist on the right) earlier today about how rewarding opportunities (like sharing music with people) are easier to come by now that we're in our 20s, and how the level of reward kind of goes down with the ease of by-comeness. That's scary. Cause what if everything becomes possible and nothing is rewarding anymore?!

But I hesitate to accept that entirely, because this isn't going to stagnate as much as we think. If, two years ago I was beginning to scheme the release of an album, one year ago I was releasing an album, and now I have the support and kinship of four incredible versatile musicians and good people to help me share even more music with the world, one year from now I could be sharing to a significantly larger audience and playing even better songs with even more incredible musicians in even more places. Get a load of me getting a head of my self. For now I have lots of songs and ideas in the works, but more special live stuff even nearer on the horizon. Thank you all for helping me make this music.

I have one more special treat for those of you who have signed up to this wonderful 'nother means of connecting with people thru music—access to this unlisted video with some very loud footage of our set on the 17th. You guys showed up for that. So fun.

Love,
Eli Orion
